Project Zero (Fatal Frame) II: Deep Crimson Butterfly opening cinematic & new gameplay released

Project Zero (Fatal Frame) 2: Crimson Butterfly is commonly regarded as one of the best horror games ever made, and I’m inclined to agree. In the coming months we’ll be releasing some retro reviews and articles on the four established entries in the series, but in the meantime we have some new gameplay and the opening cinematic for the upcoming Wii remake of the 2nd game, titled, “Deep Crimson Butterfly.” While no American release has been announced, Nintendo has confirmed the title will be coming to Europe. Though no exact date in Europe has been given, the game will be hitting Japan this June. The remake has been redone from scratch and features enhanced graphics, new mechanics, as well as new content, including a new 2-player mode. You can check out the redone opening cinematic (in Japanese) and some new gameplay below. Please take note that these videos were rendered at 240p, and playing them in the Youtube viewer blows them up a bit. Hopefully some higher-quality videos do surface soon:
