As fans of the horror genre, we have often dealt with plagues that turned our fellow humans into bloodthirsty zombies, but this time around we will be the ones to orchestrate humanity’s downfall. Plague Inc: Evolved is a strategy game about creating your own deadly plagues and it’s releasing on Steam today.
Something I really like about this game’s approach to Steam’s Early Access program is that the most important part of the game is done; the singleplayer is ready to play and will feature seven different disease types and three cheat modes. The parts of the game that are still missing are exciting and I look forward to stuff like the scenario creator and the multiplayer (cooperative and competitive), but they are not all-important, make-or-break features.
Plague Inc: Evolved will cost $14.99 at launch and will include all paid DLC that was previously available for the mobile version of the game.
