Perturbia has been greenlit on Steam

We’ve known about Perturbia for a while now.  We’ve known about it, but not really much about it, admittedly.  But that should change!  The game has been on Steam Greenlight and the game from Imaginary Game Studio has just received the…um…green light.

Any indie title that plans for Oculus Rift support is pretty ambitious, and the game is set to release late next year.

But what is it about?

Perturbia puts you in the shoes of a photographer named Josh (who, if the last clip in the previously-released trailer is anything to go by, looks suspiciously like Josh from Silent Hill: Homecoming) trying to find his way out of an abandoned building. Imaginary Game Studio acknowledges old-school survival horror inspirations such as Alone in the Dark and Silent Hill as inspirations, and Perturbia will use some of those old survival horror mechanics to find their way.
