Frictional Games may be most popular for Amnesia and SOMA these days, but before either was the Penumbra series. Modder Joseph Delgado has recently released a new mod for the nine year old Penumbra Overture to celebrate the hit new thing in horror: VR. Frictional + VR probably means one hell of a time.
The mod released earlier today and is available at version 0.1. Regardless of how early the mod is, Joseph managed to work in quite a few VR specific UI elements and animations, including in-game hands and full motion tracking for equipped items. You can download it now on his website and pick up Penumbra Overture on Steam while on sale for $1.99.
