P.A.M.E.L.A., the story of Eden gone wrong, is finally getting the update it deserves. Just in time for the Steam Summer Sale, the developers are adding new features to make Eden a slightly more forgiving place. The first feature to note is the addition of integrated tutorials, allowing players to actually learn the mechanics of the game without trial and deadly error. The team has also added crafting and harvesting, allowing players to break down many items in the world around them and assemble the pieces into other items they may need.
Beyond those basics, the game boasts a new NPC, as well as a change to existing NPCs that temporarily increases their toughness when hit so that they are harder to stagger. Bandages, nanoflex armor, and buildables that allow for enhanced crafting have been added to the items menu. Pamela has a new intro with added dialogue, and an entrance for a new district has been placed. It seems that though the developers have been very busy with the new update, there is more to come with an entirely new area coming in the next content release.
There isn’t a better time for players who want to grab P.A.M.E.L.A. to do so, with 30% off until the Steam Summer Sale ends on July 5th. Players who set the game aside to wait for updates can see some of the changes in CJ’s stream below.
