One of 2013’s best survival horror games, and one of our nominees for our GOTY award, is set to be released on PlayStation 4 tomorrow.
Outlast will be absolutely free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The service has been extremely kind to PlayStation owners for a while, and with the titles currently on the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation 3 (like DMC and BioShock Infinite) and now Outlast on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Plus looks like it’ll continue to satisfy gamers throughout 2014.
We reviewed Outlast when it originally hit the PC, giving it a perfect 10 out of 10. I held off buying it until this PS4 version. Now I’m ready to wet my pants tomorrow!
And for those wondering: yes, PS4 owners will also get the game’s upcoming DLC, as confirmed by Red Barrels.
