Since it’s inception the Wolfenstein franchise has always been goofy and over the top. From giant mutant rats to Mecha Hitler, its never been a series that’s strived for realism.
Wolfenstein: The New Order seems to be carrying on that tradition of absurdity. This new trailer shows off things like soccer players getting shot in the head, and crazy Nazi surgeons.
So yeah, it looks like schlock, but I for one welcome that sort of thing. Far too many games these days take themselves too seriously when it comes to their campaigns.
