The earth has been destroyed by the rise of Lovecraftian monsters that butchered the population. You are a survivor being watched by a thermal imaging satellite that has to explore the wasteland, find humans to save, find monsters to kill and, most importantly, find items to consume for survival purposes.
What really sells this game for me is not so much the art-style, but the scale of the monsters you are fighting. The gameplay is reminiscent of a somewhat-slower Teleglitch, but designer Chris Eskins promises that some foes are “so large that they occupy half of a structure”, which should prove to be quite interesting. Of course there is also a class of demons beneath that and some bottom-of-the-ladder minions to occupy yourself with.
Currently the game is looking to raise $22,000, of which around $5,500 was already collected at the time of writing.
