Despite winning 3 big awards at last night’s BAFTA ceremony, developer Quantic Dream isn’t looking to develop a sequel to Heavy Rain. We already know that they have two projects in development as of this moment, but now we also know that they have no intentions of going back to to their award winning ps3 exclusive.
Studio Head, David Cage goes on to state in regards to no Heavy Rain 2 plans: “So, we are going to explore different directions. Still very dark, still for adults, but completely different from Heavy Rain. We want to satisfy our fans, but we want to surprise them too. That’s our challenge.” After such a statement, it’ll be interesting to see exactly what dark and different route Quantic Dream will be going in for their next project.
