Horror fans have been eagerly awaiting a follow-up to the cult-classic No More Room in Hell. Fortunately, the NMRiH Team just dropped a new teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel, appropriately titled No More Room in Hell 2, and it’s looking pretty spooky.
The newly released Halloween 2020 trailer showcases various improvements to No More Room in Hell 2‘s visual fidelity, as well as offering various glimpses of combat, weapon customization, and the Objective Mode menus. If you compare the new trailer with footage of the previous title, you can see some clear progress in terms of visuals. That being said, some of the animations could use some improvement, especially with regards to the zombies. It is worth noting that the game is still far from completion, so there’s plenty of opportunities for the developers to improve things before launch.
For the unfamiliar, No More Room in Hell is a cooperative first-person shooter, originally created as a mod for Half-Life 2. The title features two modes; Survival and Objective, in which players will either fend off hordes of the undead or work to complete various tasks in order to escape. No More Room in Hell 2 has officially been in development since 2016 for the Unreal Engine 4.
I haven’t played NMRiH as of yet, but the title seems to have acquired quite a dedicated following, It has earned awards such as PC Gamer’s Mod of the Year, with many players citing the title’s atmosphere and the challenging but rewarding gameplay as major highlights of the experience. Considering NMRiH is free-to-play and features no form of monetization, zombie fans looking for something new will definitely want to check out the original No More Room in Hell, before it’s sequel drops.
