Nude Maker’s upcoming spiritual successor to Clock Tower may be coming primarily to handheld devices, but that hasn’t stopped the game form being filled with big kid scares. NightCry‘s first gameplay trailer has been released by the developer and it’s looking pretty retro. With visuals reminiscent of the PlayStation 2 era (or more akin to’s Deadly Premonition dated but high resolution graphics), NightCry isn’t a looker by today’s standards but it’s got charm.
The trailer features a lot of screaming, a lot of blood, and a lot of clicking. This point and click horror game is expected to release later this year on mobile phones and the PlayStation Vita. If you want it on PC, you’re going to have to back the game on Kickstarter. It has also been announced that the PC version will make use of Steam and Playism (the latter for a DRM free copy) if it’s funded. Get backin’, folks!
