Bethesda has named and dated their upcoming E3 conference today with a cute, little image with various characters from their properties. Within this image we’re given a look at characters from Dishonored, Wolfenstein, DOOM, and The Elder Scrolls. In addition, DOOM, and The Evil Within‘s Executioner, are present. We know that the upcoming DOOM is bound to have a significant presence at the show, but the inclusion of The Evil Within‘s Executioner raises questions.
While Bethesda may just be teasing their June 12th E3 conference via an image of all of their IPs, The Evil Within stands out as we’ve not seen or heard anything new about the fate of this IP since the last bit of DLC released in May. The core game and following DLC packs clearly leave room for more within that universe and a sequel seems very likely, but we’ve been given no info on if and when this will happen.
Speculation leads me to believe that each game present on the list will have an announcement: Fallout 4 has DLC incoming, a new Wolfenstein seems very likely given The New Order’s success and ending, DOOM and Dishonored 2 are on their way, and TES Online may be receiving an update (seems a bit too soon for TES 6). The one series on this list we’re unsure of the future of is The Evil Within. Does its inclusion on this list hint at a new announcement? Let’s hope so. What do you think?
