Slender: The Arrival on Steam has been updated today with the additional content found in the game’s console release. Two brand new areas that further expand on the game’s story, and gameplay improvements can be expected with this free update. If you already own the game, you have the content.
I played one of the new levels a few months ago at a preview event, and while it was mostly more of the same, I’m curious to see whether or not developer Blue Isle Studios have managed to tweak and improve the overall experience enough to eliminate (or lessen) some of my grievances. There were a few annoyances with AI and vague mechanics, so I hope to see those things fixed for a better overall game.
