There exists a bit of a cliché when it comes to (incorrectly) describing things as “Like Dark Souls“, in fact there’s an entire twitter account dedicated to tracking this statement. Being directly inspired by it however, Ska-Studios’ Salt and Sanctuary reminds us of how much it’s actually like Dark Souls with a new trailer right before the year ends. This new (but familiar) look features many of the giant and deadly foes you’ll face while you die over and over (except in 2D this time).
The game will also be at Playstation Experience this weekend, so fittingly any thirsty Californians can get even more sodium by trying out the demo. The exact release date is still undetermined, but Salt and Sanctuary will be coming to the Playstation 4 and PS Vita next year.
