Capcom had one of the most populated booths at E3 this year. You can probably imagine why…Yup, Resident Evil 6.
After standing in a long line to receive a ticket to play the game at a specified time, then coming back to line up again before the designated time to be allowed into the awesome Resident Evil 6 booth they had set up (which looked like a piece of Lanshiang, China), people were finally able to play not just one, but three demos of the upcoming game.
Leon’s demo was reminiscent of the classic entries in the series in regards to atmosphere and suspense, while Chris and Jake’s demos gave us a more action-oriented experience. But then there was also a behind-closed-doors demo that was shown to various members of the press, showing off the game’s 4-player co-op crossover feature (you can read my preview of it, as well as of the playable demos, by clicking here). But when will everyone else get to see this footage? Well, tomorrow, perhaps.
The official Resident Evil Facebook page has just promised that a new gameplay video for RE6 will be released tomorrow. It could end up being the crossover demo we saw behind closed doors. Let’s bet money on it, in honor of the Merchant!
