What can be better than an amazing game, other than an amazing game with unlimited multiplayer replay value? That’s what The Last of Us has and it seems Naughty Dog is continuing to release content for it. The map pack launched on October 15th for $9.99 featuring the Bookstore, Hometown, Bus Depot, and Suburbs maps.
All the maps seem pretty well thought out to provide an original experience without sacrificing anything. The Bookstore puts players in tighter quarters with lots of cover in a two-floor building with a small outer area. Hometown features the portion of Texas from the beginning of the game, but as it would be after all the destruction from the cordyceps.
In Bus Depot players are treated to some lush visuals contrasted with darker areas in several levels. The final map, Suburbs, is just that–a cul-de-sac cut from the Philadelphia section of the main game, giving players plenty of space. All of the maps seem to be much more than just a change of scenery, you will have to change the way you play in each one. Happy Hunting.
