Metro: Last Light definitely fits the bill of being a sequel that does things bigger than its predecessor, as we’ve seen from recent screens and gameplay videos showcasing the game’s relentless pace and action set-pieces.
One of the things that made Metro 2033 such a solid survival-horror title, though, was its sense of dread brought about by its atmosphere and enemies. So far, that seems to be quite lacking a bit in Last Light, but we’re still at an early stage.
So here are some new screens from the game, including a couple of images that actually do a good job of showing off the game’s dreary atmosphere, which is, of course, a good sign.
