Fans of the Gabriel Knight games have waited for a long time to see their beloved franchise continue, as the last entry in this Sierra point & click adventure game was released in 1999. While the fourth game hasn’t been greenlit quite yet, this short story gives a glimpse of what Gabriel and Grace will be up to next.
Activision recently revived the Sierra brand and intends to use it for indie game development. They also gave Jane permission to remake the original Gabriel Knight game, which will release on Steam and other services soon, so interest for the franchise seems to be returning. The short story itself puts Gabriel back in Germany with a new case to solve, and is free to download in pdf format (so a reader is required).
