At The Game Awards 2016, some brand new footage was shown from the upcoming two-part premiere of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. Yes, you read that right. The premiere episode was so huge that it was split into two parts! Both parts will be available on December 20 across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Steam, and iOS/Android devices. But, now, let’s talk about the actual footage!
We get to see the game’s main character, Javier, as he experiences the beginning of the zombie outbreak with his family. This scene even has a nice little nod to Resident Evil (two, actually, if you count the closet and zombie positioning!). It’s a nice set-up for Javier, painting him as a very family-centered character. The story will then jump three years into the outbreak, where Javier eventually crosses paths with Clementine as he sets out to find the remaining members of his family.
