Did you know that the PSN zombie shoot-em-up Dead Nation recieved the Editor’s Choice award by Gaming Nexus, Just Push Start, Playstation LIfestyle, ZTGD and Gamingbolt? The game was also chosen as the PSN Game of the Year by PS Nation, Gamingbolt and Playstation Lifestyle. We also thought very highly of it too, but we don’t have any special awards to give out, how about a gold star?
One of the things that many gamers found lacking was that even though it was such a great multiplayer experience, the lack of voice chat left much to be desired. It wasn’t as if you really ‘needed’ voice chat to play the game, much like voice-chat in Resident Evil 5, we’ll never pass up a good way to make multiplayer experiences even more seamless.
Housemarque has been listening, and an upcoming patch to be released on Monday will resolve this issue once and for all. Not only that, the update will also include some extra special goodies, including the ability to copy saves and CHECKPOINTS! It’s like Christmas! Again! There’s also a new developer diary for Dead Nation that you can watch too.
So if you haven’t taken up arms against your undead neighbours, there’s no finer time like the present! Your country needs you, dammit! Dead Nation is available on PSN for $9.99.
