Below you’ll be able to view a couple of new gameplay videos for the upcoming ‘Severed’ DLC for Dead Space 2. This DLC sees players taking on the role of Gabe Weller from Dead Space: Extraction as he’s trying to save Lexine as they’re both caught in the latest Necromorph infestation.
In the first video we get to see Gabe in the beginning of the DLC: the Titan Mines. It’s pretty awesome seeing one of the best multi-player levels get a single-player focus. And by the looks of it, there’s going to be a lot of stuff going on within this map, so even if you’re familiar with the confines due to multiple online sessions, the hordes of Necromorphs are going to make this anything but a cakewalk.
Then in the second video we get to see some more upside-down dismemberment which of course looks fun. It’s apparent in both these videos that Gabe’s side story will be full of relentless hordes of enemies, with possibly a much larger focus on action than the main campaign.
