August has been a really great month for horror gaming fans, wouldn’t you agree. First Resident Evil: REmake HD, then Silent Hills, the assurance of new Dead Space, possibly a new Night Trap and now Atari has announced that two of its own classic horror franchises are being rebooted.
Haunted House is being developed by Dreampainters, who previously released the horror title Anna. The teaser website only states that “terror returns Fall 2014.” Alone in the Dark: Illumination is being developed by Pure FPS and its teaser website simply states “Autumn 2014.”
Pure FPS? That might tell us a little bit about what the next Alone in the Dark game might be like, although no other information on the company was immediately available.
