It’s been said that once a movie monster becomes iconic, it loses a lot of what makes it scary. Well, Creative Assembly disagrees with that notion, and insists in this new developer diary for Alien: Isolation that you will be afraid of the Alien in their game.
Considering we’ve seen the Alien do battle with Terminators, Superman, Batman, and of course the Predator, it’ll be a tall order making this icon scary again. The developers seem very dedicated to the cause though, that is, they really want to make this a pure horror game.
