Neverending Nightmares is set to release on PC. It’s also set to release on Mac, Linux and Ouya platforms at the same time. So a game is actually going to release for more than one platform. Why is this news? Glad you asked.
The reason this is possible is because Ouya’s “Free the Games” fund has changed some of its conditions. One of those conditions was that if a game was developed for the Ouya system and used the Free the Games fund, Ouya exclusivity would apply for six months. That would mean that in the case of a multi-platform game such as Neverending Nightmares, Kickstarter backers would have to wait an additional six months before they could actually play a game that they helped fund (unless they owned an Ouya, that is).
If you haven’t already, take a look at the Kickstarter video below.
The animation style alone is creepy enough. A demo of the game is available for Windows only, you can head over to the Kickstarter page and give it a whirl if you’re interested. Additionally, you can vote to get Neverending Nightmares on Steam Greenlight. Throw some love the developer’s way by checking out their Facebook page as well.
