Neverending Nightmares to haunt PlayStation 4 and Vita

The Edward Gorey inspired sketch horror game Neverending Nightmares is headed to the PlayStation 4 and Vita its developer has announced today. Matt Gilgenback, developer of Neverending Nightmares, is bringing his the game to PlayStation in the 2nd quarter of 2016, with a targeted 1080p resolution on PS4 and 60fps on both platforms. The game is said to have received a few visual tweaks to compliment the transition to consoles.

We reviewed Neverending Nightmares when it released on PC sometime ago. Then-editor Kyle Campbell wrote, “The highs and lows of Neverending Nightmares are pretty extreme for the most part. The visual and audio presentation is some of the best I’ve seen in a game this year, while the story and gameplay leave much to be desired.”

The game’s story symbolizes Gilgenbach’s self admitted battle with mental illness, and its representation in the game is genuinely chilling. Game faults aside, it’s cool to see him able to bring Neverending Nightmares to more people later this year.
