Italian developer Ovosonico’s Murasaki Baby is officially coming to North America this year. Previously announced only for Europe, PlayStation Blog revealed that this Vita exclusive title will be arriving here as well.
Murasaki Baby does not only have a strange name, it also has a strange story and visuals. The game follows “Baby”, a small child that travels through a dreamworld crafted by the imagination and nightmares of children. After waking up there, players must navigate Baby safely through the dark, abstract world. The Vita’s rear-touchpad can be used to shift the “mood” of the dreamworld from peaceful to nightmarish.
Murasaki Baby certainly looks visually appealing. The premise is right up my alley, too. Here’s hoping we hear more about it soon.
