To qualify, one had to have had the 3DS back when it was still at its full, original price. Basically, Nintendo aimed to cleanse the anger within early adopters, upset that they didn’t wait a bit longer to get their hands on the House of Mario’s latest handheld. Well, I’m not going to do any math here, but 20 free games definitely makes up for having paid a very pricey amount for the 3DS before the drastic price cut.
First us Ambassadors got 10 free NES games, including beloved classics like the original Metroid (yay!) as well as the original Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda. Now, we’ve just received the final 10 games, being composed entirely of superb GBA era titles. And guess what? Metroid Fusion is one of those free games.
Yes, after a long wait, Metroid Fusion is now available for fans (that are 3DS Ambassadors) to check out, or replay (for free), on the 3DS. So, if you’re qualified, what are you waiting for? Go on ahead and download this handheld classic! We’ll have a full review of the title in the weeks to come.
