Fans of the highly atmospheric title Metro 2033 will have to wait a bit longer for the sequel, Last Light, to hit. Originally expected to hit in 2012, THQ has just revealed– through their third quarter financial earnings report– that the sequel will now hit during the Q1 2013 launch window.
Up until now we’ve already been treated to a few gameplay clips from the game, all of which indicated a much more action-oriented approach being taken for this sequel. So long as the atmosphere remains as superbly done as it was in the original, Last Light could prove to be a solid sequel. Or it could prove to be a typical sequel which only aims to up the ante when it comes to action-packed set pieces.
