IndieV8 just put up their upcoming game, Memories of a Fisherman, on Steam Greenlight. The game, a first person adventure game in which you play a simple fisherman investigating the disappearance of his family and the death of his friend Billy.
The trailer shows our fisherman walking around the island environment and interacting with things around him. We see a creepy floating woman, night time lit up via torch and a lot of walking through low-contrast spooky scenery. IndieV8 promises a lot of story content with side-content for you to find and experience if you diverge off the set path.
I’m speculating the game will be more in line with recent story-through-exploration focused games like Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and Dear Esther, rather than a more traditional puzzle based adventure game. But only time will tell as of now what route the game will go down.
