The upcoming expansion to Dying Light, the really big one with an emphasis on off-road vehicle travel in a whole new map, finally has some release info. The content will arrive within the first three months of 2016. Producer Tymon Smektala promises the release window gives them time to make the expansion content-rich. A new and super brief video showing off Dying Light: The Following‘s release window is available now as well.
“So since Gamescom 2015, we revealed quite a bit about our upcoming expansion: the vast countryside map, the customizable dirt buggy, a new story and more. What we couldn’t say before though, was the release date. Today we finally know that Dying Light: The Following will launch within the first three months of 2016,” said Dying Light producer Tymon Smektala. “This gives us enough time to put in all the content and surprises we have planned for you guys. So keep your eyes peeled for some sneak peeks into what we have in the works for you all. And we promise to share the exact day of release as soon as we get a final decision.”
Dying Light: The Following will be $14.99 if purchase separately but is part of the Dying Light season pass for no additional cost.
Can I just have this content now, please? I’ve been meaning to get back to Dying Light, and the scope of this content has me itching.
