Marble Hornets writers join Slender: The Eight Pages team

Joseph DeLage, Troy Wagner and Tim Sutton have joined forces with Mark Hadley and Blue Isle Studios to deliver what may possibly be the most mind-blowing foray into the Slenderman mythos we have ever seen.

While you may not be familiar with their names, DeLage, Wagner and Sutton are the devious minds behind the Marble Hornets webseries on YouTube.  If you happen to have a few hours to spend and are looking for what is arguably one of the best series surrounding Slenderman that exists on YouTube, you should check out Marble Hornets.  It’s not for the feint of heart, watching the whole thing will take you a good, long time.  Also it’s creepy – it’s important to point that out.

Additionally, you may not know the name Mark Hadley (AKA: Agent Parsec of Parsec Productions), but you will definitely recognize his work, Slender: The Eight Pages, the sleeper hit available for PC and Mac.

Slender: The Eight Pages is being crafted into a new project, now known as Slender: The Arrival.  Arrival is currently in development at Blue Isle Studios and DeLage, Wagner and Sutton are crafting an eerie and powerful storyline for the game.

Alex Tintor, founder of Blue Isle Studios was excited about the new addition to his team.

This partnership is exactly what the fans have been asking for, and we couldn’t be happier to work with the Marble Hornets Team to deliver the best experience possible.  Our team is truly excited to build upon the enormous success of the original Slender game, The Eight Pages

If you haven’t checked it out yet, take a look at Slender: The Eight Pages.  Information is limited about Arrival at this point, but you can be sure that we’ll be bringing you the news as it becomes available.  A tentative release date is planned for early 2013, and while the final pricing details haven’t been finalized, the official website for Slender: The Arrival confirms that the game will retail for less than $20.
