Remote studio Bonsai Collective, a young company based in the UK, has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming cosmic horror FPS Luna Abyss ahead of the Game Developers Conference 2023. With a developer passionate about game narratives, world-building, and storytelling, the slick teaser showcases numerous environments in detail. The intent is to display the mystery of the game and give a taste of the secrets seeping from its core.
With Aylin, an artificial prison guard, as your guide, traverse a world of mysteries through the remains of a long-lost colony dispersed across valleys and caverns. The setting is the final resting place for prisoners sent into the depths to work off their sentences in the Luna Abyss. You will face several looming questions and try to unravel what happened to Luna’s lost colony Greymont, a once-prosperous and populated city. What are the enigmatic voices that call out to you from the depths of the abyss?
While traveling through the alien terrain, you will be challenged by horrific cosmic horrors and come face-to-face with disturbing revelations hidden beneath. You will need to make split-second decisions using the weapons arsenal and traversal abilities.
Benni Hill, Creative Director at Bonsai Collective, says:
