The PC and Mac versions of Lone Survivor: Director’s Cut on PC and Mac is coming soon and it will be available for free to people who own Lone Survivor. Even if you bought the game in the humble indie bundle for one single cent, you can get Lone Survivor: Director’s Cut for free. Additionally, your save from the original will be compatible with the Director’s Cut!
In his blog, Byrne states that the response to the Playstation 3 and Vita versions have so far been good, and that the game will also be available on Good Old Games.
However this does come with a caveat. It’s not always wise financially to give away your stuff for free, so the game is going to see a small price increase. A small price to pay for such an amazing game.
