Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is bringing players back to The Nowhere in Little Nightmares III, and this time they will not need to go on their own.
Today on Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2024, a new trailer put the focus on teamwork, showcasing Low and Alone, the game’s two new characters. Developed by Supermassive Games, Little Nightmares III follows the journey of the pair as they work together to find a way out of the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing places within The Nowhere.
For the first time in the series, players can choose to play as either character, with their own unique abilities.
You can also invite a friend to join and play online co-op to overcome the game’s signature mix of grim environments with challenging puzzles and grotesque creatures called “residents” lurking in the shadows.
Each character carries their own iconic item – a bow and arrow for Low and a wrench for Alone – that they will need to help them in their journey. Online co-op brings a new element to the experience, where players can now face their childhood fears together.
Little Nightmares III is also playable in single-player. Here, players can choose Low or Alone while AI controls the other character.
Little Nightmares III is coming in 2025 to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
