In what is no doubt making Left 4 Dead fans elsewhere jealous, Japan is getting pretty damned lucky with an arcade release of everyone’s favourite zombie shooter.
The arcade edition looks like it’s swapped a few of the character models, but some familiar faces (Jockey!) and locations seem to be making a return. One wonders if the campaigns will be cut down to a) help avoid people passing out at the machine and b) get more money out of them.
I digress – I don’t know how Japanese arcades work, but if it’s anything like arcades in North America, that’s exactly what will happen. Maybe more for the latter than for the former. Either way, this makes me want to play some more Left 4 Dead. Maybe Valve will announce gloriously to its fans and offer some new DLC? Or…Left 4 Dead 3 maybe?
