An expansion to Layers of Fear has been announced and shown off at RTX 2016. Set after the events of the original game, players take the role of the painter’s daughter as she relives her tortured childhood while visiting her former home. Insanity apparently runs in her family, so she sets out back to her home to uncover what her parents endured during her father’s bout with madness, and what he left for her there.
Layers of Fear: Inheritance is set to release on August 2 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. No pricing details are available.
