Alex Harvey has released a brand new trailer for his Kickstarter-funded stealth game, Tangiers. Influenced by all sorts of esoteric, abstract, and macabre imagery and artists, Tangiers sports one hell of an art style and vibe. The most recently trailer dropped by Harvey shows off new gameplay footage to the tune of an industrial track that sets the tone for the game’s strange, and beautiful aesthetic.
Tangier is an open world stealth game where players will use words and phrases as tools in order to sneak about. Based on the player’s actions, the world around them will change as well. The Thief series is also cited as an influence on the gameplay.
If the game’s mechanics weren’t already interesting, the visuals really sell this game; I can’t wait to check this out when it releases later this year.
