It’s almost been a full week since the release of Outlast 2. I finished it over the weekend and enjoyed my time with it, despite my issues with its over-reliance on jump scares and its overall “let’s be as extreme as we can be” horror delivery. Don’t get me wrong, I adore gore and jumping out of my seat, but Outlast 2 just didn’t feel as genuinely scary as the first game did for me. And speaking of the first game…
The latest issue of the official Outlast comic book is going to be essential reading for fans curious to see what the connection between both games in the series is. Of course, I only suggest you read it if you’ve already completed Outlast 2.
