Come August 29, Killing Floor 2 will deliver its sloppy, gruesome and loud zombie ZED killing gameplay to Xbox One (and Xbox One X). Tripwire Interactive has announced that the game will launch for $39.99 with existing content like The Tropical Bash, The Descent and elements of The Summer Sideshow included.
Xbox fans get exclusive content in the form of the Freezethrower — a liquid nitrogen gun that shatters enemies (with 8 weapon skin variants) — and the Wasteland Armor cosmetic uniform (with 5 different skin styles). As it’s launching with Xbox One X support, you can expect a 4K resolution and improved performance and visual fidelity.
We reviewed Killing Floor 2 awhile back and gave it an above average score due to the less than desired amount of content at launch. Tripwire has been pretty diligent about content updates, so the game is only getting better. Have fun, Xbox folk!
