Killing Floor 2 Fully Launches on PC and PS4 November 18th

Tripwire’s previously PC-only undead shooter is finally ready to cross the bridge to console land as the game ends its Early Access stint.

After years of waiting for a release date (it was announced way back in 2014), we finally have one, as Killing Floor 2′s PS4 version is dropping both physically and digitally November 18th of this year. The PC version will also leave Early Access and update to version 1.0. The announcement via PlayStation’s blog promises that more information will be coming soon, and that attendees of PAX East will get a chance to play it on the show floor. Tripwire Vice President Alan Wilson said the following:

E3 was a great experience for us. We were on the show floor in Sony’s booth, with players getting their hands on the full co-op game experience for the first time on PS4. We had a great time chatting and playing with fans, as well as making some tweaks based on your feedback! There’s probably quite a few videos of that out there as well, if you want to go hunting for it. For those of you who will be attending PAX West in Seattle next month, look for news on playing the game in the near future.

They also promise that they’re “getting close” to achieving 60fps gameplay on PS4, which will hopefully mean that we’ll have it in the final game. More news to come folks, but for now – at least we have a date to look forward to, barring any potential delays (fingers crossed this release goes smoothly?).
