Suda 51, along with joint developers Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games’ Killer Is Dead has been given its first North American trailer. While the voiceovers are in English, don’t expect to know what’s going on. Like, at all. It’s madness!
The trailer shows off the game’s beautiful art style along with scenes of intense violence. Mondo Zappa, KIS‘s protagonist, is a righteous sword-for-hire that is tasked with eliminating targets for the Bryan Execution Firm. Mondo’s targets may be criminals and assassins but not all are of the human kind. The trailer shows some supernatural looking creatures, one possibly being the big boss of what ever faction Mondo is trying to take down.
Killer Is Dead is Suda 51’s latest supernatural cell-shaded action game. The trailer may be a bit perplexing but my interest is rising. Expect the game to release this summer on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
