While Suda 51 and Grasshopper manufacture have undoubtedly a large hardcore following in the west, their games still tend to fall under the “cult classic” umbrella. So with every new title announced by the developer, the question in the west is always an immediate: “Is this coming to North America?” Well thanks to a recent press release, it looks as though Suda 51 fans have nothing to fear with regards to his next game, Killer Is Dead is coming to North America this summer for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360!
Killer Is Dead is a joint development project between Kadokawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture. Where the player assumes control of an executioner named Mondo Zappa, who wields a Katana in his right hand, while brandishing an assortment of various weapons with his artificial left hand.
There is no actual release date yet set for the game, only that XSEED is looking to get it out in the summer time frame. It is also notable that while XSEED is bringing Killer Is Dead to North America, Deep Silver of Dead Island fame are actually ensuring the game’s release in European and Oceania territories.
