Junji Ito to Collaborate on Mobile Horror Game ‘Identity V’

Junji Ito

A collaboration between Japanese master of horror Junji Ito and Identity V, Chinese publisher and developer NetEase’s first horror title exclusive to mobile devices, has been announced.

Through Identity V‘s official Japanese Twitter, this limited collaboration was announced and elaborated on. Ito’s involvement seems to only be relegated to cosmetic items for specific characters in this Dead by Daylight-esque mobile game, which you can see below. There has been no word if the Junji Ito collaboration is exclusive to the Japanese version of the game or if this will head to the global client in the near future.

Identity V is an asymmetrical multiplayer game that pits four survivors against a single hunter. Players must use their wits and resourcefulness to make it out alive and survive the horrors of the night. Additionally, there also segments where players control a detective as he searches for a missing girl in a long abandoned manor to unravel the mysteries of Identity V‘s story. The game is available now for free on iOS and Android.
