John Carpenter has been responsible for some of the best horror movies out there, at least one of which translated into a pretty cool game, but in a recent interview with Giant Bomb the man expressed a desire for more.
Giant Bomb arranged the interview after the famous director tweeted about Rayman Legends. Of course, the website jumped on the chance to ask if Carpenter had ever considered working on a game himself, to which he answered: “I’d love to work on an original video game. Maybe the opportunity will present itself.” Carpenter also discussed topics like immersion and how games and movies differ from one another. It’s a pretty interesting interview, so if you’ve got a few minutes, then I recommend giving it a read.
