Japanese gamers who pre-order the upcoming Onechanbara Z2: Chaos will receive a special extra in the form of a costume for their character. This isn’t just some skimpy bikini, as most other suits in the franchise, but a suit belonging to the wing diver class from Earth Defense Force.
While Onechanbara is a brawler franchise in which you play as bikini-clad samurai girls, Earth Defense Force is a weird third-person shooter franchise in which you become a soldier that has to fend off giant monsters (usually insects) with weapons that become absurder the further you get. While it’s unlikely that we’ll get this costume in the American or European release, assuming there will even be one, it’s a pretty cool incentive.
Onechanbara Z2: Chaos will release in Japan on October 30, 2014.
