inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood is quite a significant release to me, for a couple reasons. First off, it’s a standalone episode set within inFAMOUS 2’s setting, New Marais (its southern part, to be specific), that brings forth hordes of the undead. Not only will series’ star Cole McGrath be doing battle with vampires, but he’ll become one himself. And lastly, my second reason for being so damn excited for this release is because it finally gives me a chance to tell you how much I love inFAMOUS 2, which is something I wouldn’t normally be able to do on the site since…you know…it’s not survival horror.
So, having said that, Festival of Blood has launched on the PlayStation Store for the price of $9.99. And, as aforementioned, you don’t have to own a copy of inFAMOUS 2 to experience this, seeing as how it’s a complete standalone episode. I mean, you really should check out inFAMOUS 2, since it’s definitely one of the year’s best games, especially in terms of PlayStation 3 exclusives, but if you haven’t yet and are just interested in Festival of Blood because of its abundance of blood-sucking creatures, then have at you.
