‘I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream’ coming to PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on March 27th

I Have No Mouth, and I Must ScreamPublisher Nightdive Studios and developer The Dreamers Guild will release the horror point-and-click adventure game I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on March 27th.

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream originally launched for MS-DOS and MacOS in November 1995, followed by Windows on September 5, 2013, OSX and Linux on October 17, 2013, and iOS and Android on January 14, 2016.

The game is an adaptation of the post-apocalyptic short story of the same name by Harlan Ellison. It was first published in the March 1967 issue of IF: Worlds of Science Fiction. The story is set against the backdrop of World War III, where a sentient supercomputer named AM, born from the merging of the world’s major defense computers, eradicates humanity except for five individuals. These survivors—Benny, Gorrister, Nimdok, Ted, and Ellen—are kept alive by AM to endure endless torture as a form of revenge against its creators.

The game plunges you into the tortured and hidden past of the five survivors, as you delve into their darkest fears, and attempt to outwit AM in a game of psychological warfare.
