The Steam Greenlight service was launched by Valve so that gamers themselves could vote on and decide what indie games they wanted to see on the service. Thus far it’s been a tremendous success, especially for indie developers trying to make their projects available to as wide of an audience as possible. Well today Valve announced the 5th set of titles to make it through the Greenlight process, and fans of the horror genre have a lot to be grinning about right now, as Huntsman: The Orphanage and Organ Trail: Director’s Cut will be making their Steam debuts soon!
Huntsman: The Orphanage is a first person horror game where you delve into the dark hallways of Grimhaven Orphanage. Players are charged with the task of investigating a series of missing children cases and how they’re tied to the legend of a creature known only as Huntsman. Your smart phone is your primary tool used to illuminate your way in the darkness, interact with items in the environment, and it acts as a conduit between the physical and spirit worlds.
Organ Trail: Director’s Cut is a twist on the legendary Oregon Trail computer game from the 1970’s. However Instead of exploring America in colonial times, you’ll be exploring and surviving the post apocolyptic wastes of zombie infested America!
