Don’t Starve has been sucking up my time lately. I’ve survived 19 nights, created a small home with stone walls, made a farm, and razed The Malodorous Spider Dens of the East, all to be killed by the the combined efforts of the Winter’s cold grasp, and those evil fucking penguins. And though I was suffocating with rage at the time, I couldn’t help but start up another character. The sense of discovery in this game has been satisfying as hell and I’m still finding new things to tell my friends about.
As if the dense content included in the base game wasn’t enough, Klei Entertainment has put up a teaser video for DLC entitled “Reign of the Giants”. Neither the release date nor the details of the content are shown, but I imagine we shall be hearing more about it soon enough. Whether it will only be released on the PS4, or also for the PC, Mac, and Linux versions remains to be seen.
Who else has been trying to avoid those godsdamned Tallbirds?
