Humble Weekly Bundle is 100% roguelike

Paranautical Activity

One of the most popular genres within the indie community is the “roguelike”, which is defined by randomized levels and permanent death. These games are notorious for both their difficulty and their addictive nature, so if you are interested, then you can obtain a collection of high-quality titles this week and help charity at the same time.

Pay $1 or more and you’ll receive Steam codes for Hack, Slash, Loot, the complete Dungeons of Dredmore package and Paranautical Activity. That last name might sound familiar to you, since we previewed this early access title a while ago and it has since then received some remarkable updates. If you’re up for a really psychedelic first-person shooter with some neat pixel-art in it, then I’d say a minimum $1 is definitely worth it.

If you are feeling particularly generous, then you can donate more than $6 and obtain access to The Binding of Isaac complete with the Wrath of the Lamb DLC, Teleglitch: Die More Edition, also with DLC, and Sword of the Stars: The Pit – Gold Edition. Isaac will be a familiar name to most and would instantly justify the $6 asking price, but the inclusion of Teleglitch and The Pit makes this a great deal. Teleglitch is pretty much Doom, but from a top-down perspective and with a really intuitive crafting system, and Sword of the Stars is a very elaborate roguelike with a neat sci-fi theme to it.
